SC Seeks Details Of Facilities Being Provided By FGEHF To Residents

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd May, 2019 ) :The Supreme Court on Thursday directed the Federal Government Employees Housing Foundation (FGEHF) to submit details of facilities being provided by it to the residents on next date of hearing.
A three-member SC bench headed by Justice Mushir Alam heard the case.
During the course of proceedings, Justice Ijaz Ul Ahsan asked about the total number of plots allotted to the affectees.
The counsel for the affectees said that his clients had been residing in the area since partition and still wanted to live there. Any housing scheme, which was not launched by the Capital Development Authority, would be called a private housing scheme, he added.
He said the foundation's duty was to provide homes to the shelterless and asked as to how it could sell commercial plots.
Later, the court sought details of facilities being provided by the FGEHF to the residents and adjourned the case till June 12.
