SDO FESCO among 10 suspended for negligence

FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 15th August, 2016) : State Minister for Water and Power Chaudhary Abid Sher Ali suspended 10 employees of Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (FESCO) including Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO) Construction, Chiniot, on charge of negligence.

The minister conducted surprise visit to FESCO Complex Chiniot on Monday and on public complaints issued orders for immediate suspension of SDO Muhammad Anees, three meter inspectors, four meter readers of the subdivision, one meter inspector and one meter reader of Chenab Nagar subdivision. He also issued orders to charge-sheet the entire staff of Chenab Nagar subdivision including SDO and said that there was no room for the corrupt, negligent, lethargic and delinquent elements in FESCO. The state minister also heard public complaints during his visit and issued on-the-spot orders for redress of the same.
