Senate Body Directs To Increase Baluchistan Development Fund

ISLAMABAD, Nov 9 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 9th Nov, 2018 ) :Expressing dissatisfaction over insufficient funds, Senate Standing Committee on Functional and Less Developed Areas Friday directed the government to increase development budget of Balochistan.
The meeting held here under the chairmanship of Senator Usman Khan Kakar.
Others committee's members including Sardar Muhammad Azam Khan, Rahila Magsi, Kalsoom Pirveen, Nighat Mirza, Qurat ul Ain Marri and government officials also attended the meeting.
Senate panel said that the number of less developed districts in Pakistan were more as comparing to the developed areas.
The committee directed planning commission to plant the promised 10,000 saplings, at the earliest. It directed the concerned authority to set up Informed Technology University at district Muslim Bagh, Balochistan.
He urged the concerned to include construction of 100 small dams project in CPEC.
