Senate Body To Brief By FIA On Oct 16

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th Oct, 2018 ) :Senate Committee on Informational Technology and Telecommunication on Tuesday will be briefed by National Response Centre for Cyber Crimes (NR3C), Federal Investigative Agency (FIA) regarding its mandate and initiatives taken to curb social media offenses, especially kidnapping of children for pornography filming (including harassment and blacking mailing) indicating cases registered and steps taken in this regard.
The Committee meeting will be held under the Chairperson of Senator Rubina Khalid here at Parliament House.
The Committee will be also briefed by Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) regarding its mandate to monitor, control and remove unethical, pursuant to prevention of Electronic Crimes Act, 2016, said a Notice of Senate Secretariat here on Sunday.
