Senate By-election For Punjab Seat Tomorrow

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Jul, 2025) A by-election for a vacant Senate seat from Punjab will be held on Monday, July 21, 2025. The seat fell vacant following the demise of Senator Sajid Mir.

According to the Provincial Election Commission on Sunday, the polling will take place at the Punjab Assembly Hall, which has been officially designated as the polling station for the election.

The Provincial Election Commissioner Punjab will serve as the returning officer for the by-poll. Members of the Punjab Assembly will cast their votes to elect the new Senator.

All MPAs have been directed to bring their official assembly identification cards to participate in the voting process.

Polling will be conducted from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM without any interruption.
