
Senate Panel To Discuss Sales Of Aircrafts On Aug 18

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Augst,2016) : Senate Standing Committee on Defence Production will meet here Thursday (tomorrow) to discuss latest sales of JF-17 Thunder and Mashaq aircrafts and the latest status of AWACS damaged during terrorists attack on Kamra airbase.
The meeting to be chaired by Senator Lt Gen (Retd) Abdul Qayyum will also discuss broad budget allocation to Defence Production Establishment during year 2015-16 and its utilization. The committee will also discuss major achievements in indigenization or commercialization fields during the year. It will also take up possibilities of cooperation in defence production field with Russia.
