Senators Hail Passage Of Bill For Merger Of FATA With Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th May, 2018 ) :Senator-Baluchistan Awami Party Anwar ul Haq kakar has said that merging FATA in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is in best interest of the tribal people as It has historical, administrative and political significance and is a moment to cherish for the whole nation.

Talking to Radio Pakistan he said FATA is no more the area of others and Writ of the government will be established and equal opportunities will be generated for the people. The people of FATA have seen the worst security situation and rendered matchless sacrifices for the country now it is time to give them reward of their sacrifices and patience, he added.

The military and political leadership of Pakistan is very serious in mainstreaming FATA, settlements of displaced families, creating opportunities for the youth of FATA, providing them better facilities of education and health and providing them a safe and secure environment, the senator said.

He mentioned once people feel secure they will be able to participate actively for the development of the country.

Leader of the House Raja Zafar Ul Haq said there is no doubt that passage of bill for Merging FATA into Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in National assembly and senate with more than two third majority shows that majority of the political leadership is on one page regarding FATA reforms.

It was imperative to mainstream FATA and implement the uniform legal and administrative system to provide in time justice to the people of FATA. I strongly endorse this decision for the development and progress of FATA, he added.

Senator PML-N Senator Ghous Muhammad Khan Niazi has also congratulated the whole nation on this historic day and said the people of FATA who were deprived of basic rights and justice got rid of the black law of FCR today.

Ghous Muhammad said It was imperative to address the sense of deprivation prevailing amongst the people of FATA and bring them into the main stream by providing them equal opportunities and facilities. It is a very good omen that all the political leadership showed their consensus and unity on a very important national issue, he highlighted.
