Serving Masses PTI Govt's Mission: Minister

Punjab Minister for Industries and Trade Mian Aslam Iqbal on Friday said that serving masses was a mission of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) government which would be continued without any discrimination.
LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th Oct, 2018 ) :Punjab Minister for Industries and Trade Mian Aslam Iqbal on Friday said that serving masses was a mission of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) government which would be continued without any discrimination.
He held an open court at his camp office and listened to problems of people for almost four hours. He issued on-the-spot orders for solving some of the problems, and forwarded some applications to the departments concerned.
While talking to complainants and the media, he said that the purpose of holding open court was to solve people's problems swiftly.
He said that the government officers should implement an open door policy in their offices and solve people's problems on priority basis.
The minister said that merit was the only way out for progress and the Punjab government was implementing the merit policy at every level.
He said that the PTI government would come up to the expectations of people and such a system would be introduced which would help solving people's problems at their doorsteps.
Reforms in the government departments were being introduced to increase the capabilities of the government offices, he added.
Most complaints lodged by people were related to police, local government, education, health, WASA and other departments. The instructions were issued for their solution.
