Several Injured In Blast, Firing At Mall Road In Chaman

It was a remote-controlled blast, fixed in a motorcycle.
Islamabad (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 20th July, 2018) At least four people, including a child, were injured in a blast that took place in Mall Road area of Chaman, Balochistan on Friday.
The explosion was followed by firing in the area.
According to police sources, it was a remote-controlled blast, fixed in a motorcycle.
The blast took place when a patrolling car was passing by the road.
The glass of nearby cars were broken due to the blast. Fire broke out in several buildings after the blast.
Media footages showed fumes of smoke following the blast while the sound of the blast could be heard till distant places.
The law enforcement and security agencies have cordoned off the area.
The rescue teams have reached the site of the blast after which, the injured have been shifted to the hospital.
