Shah Mehmood Qureshi Pays Rich Tribute To Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS)

MULTAN, Sept 20 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Sep, 2018 ) ::Foreign Minister Makhdoom Shah Mehmood Qureshi has said that Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS) is the symbol of courage and righteousness.

In a message on Youm-e-Ashur, issued by Babul Quresh, media cell in Multan, the foreign minister said people should adhere to the golden principles for which Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS) sacrificed his life along with members of his family at Karbala.

He said Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS) teached not to bow before the forces of tyranny.

He said Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS) delivered the message of unity and stressed on adherence to Islamic way of life.

Makhdoom Shah Mehmood Qureshi said extremism and sectarianism are threat to the society and every one should discourage such tendencies in the light of teachings of Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS).

He said Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS) gave a lesson to all to stand against tyranny and evil forces.

He said Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS) introduced golden principles and the incident of Karbla was a battle between forces of good and evil, and evil was defeated forever. "The incident also gave us lesson to fight against tyranny and injustice. Youm-e-Ashur demands that we should eradicate Yazeedi thinking," he concluded.
