Sharifs Unable To Present Evidence In Defence Of Their Cases: Sarwar

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Oct, 2018 ) :Federal Minister for Petroleum Division, Ghulam Sarwar Khan Wednesday said Sharif family could not submit a single evidence in their defence in corruption cases.
Talking to a private news channel, he said former Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif was apprehended by National Accountability Bureau (NAB) in Ashiana Iqbal housing scheme case.
The minister said NAB was constituted to investigate corruption scandals, and it was conducting inquiry, registering challan and giving punishment to culprits.
He said PML-N was targeting the national institutions through baseless criticism, he added.
He said PML-N wanted a new National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO) in the country, but he assured that no NRO would be given.
To a query, he said PML-N was responsible of Model Town incident in which many innocent people were killed, adding action would be taken against perpetrators of the incident.
