SHC To Hear Petitions For Recount On August 13 Again

HYDERABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th Aug, 2018 ) :In the petitions praying the court to order recount of the votes cast on July 25 general elections in certain Constituencies, Sindh High Court fixed the hearing on August 13.
The Hyderabad Circuit Bench after hearing the petitioners here Friday fixed the next date when the court is likely to announce the order.
According to the detail, the petitions filed by the runner-up candidates of NA 215, PS 48, PS 54 and PS 82 constituencies.All the petitioners including Haji Khuda Bux Rajar of NA 215 Sanghar, Syed Ali Nawaz Shah of PS 48 Mirpurkhas, Dost Muhammad Ramona of PS 54 Tharparkar and Dr Sikandar Shoro of PS 82 Jamshoro pleaded for the recount.Interestingly, all the 4 candidates were defeated by the Pakistan Peoples Party's candidates in their respective constituencies.
