LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st Jun, 2018 ) :PML-N President, Shehbaz Sharif, while condemning the imposition of Governor's rule in Indian Held Kashmir (IHK), stated this action reflected the abysmal failure of New Delhi's Kashmir policy.

Shehbaz Sharif said, "The fact that a government of their own choosing cannot complete its tenure indicates that India has failed miserably to manipulate or maintain its control in Jammu and Kashmir.

" He referred international reports on the human rights violations in held Kashmir and stated, "The Indian occupation army's use of pellet guns is a crime against humanity. So-called democracy in Jammu and Kashmir has been exposed.

The election process in Indian held Kashmir is not a substitute for the Kashmiri people's right to self-determination. We fully support the efforts of the Kashmiri people towards seeking their inalienable rights enshrined in the UN Charter."
