Shehbaz Sharif’s Lawyer Falls Unconscious In Supreme Court

Advocate Ashtar Ausaf went to court for the hearing of contempt of court case against Railways Minister Sheikh Rasheed but he fainted in the courtroom.
Lahore (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 15th May, 2019) Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Shehbaz Sharif’s lawyer fell unconscious in the court room.
According to details, Shehbaz Sharif’s lawyer fainted during the hearing in Supreme Court.
Advocate Ashtar Ausaf went to court for the hearing of contempt of court case against Railways Minister Sheikh Rasheed but he fainted in the courtroom. The lawyer was immediately shifted to the hospital.
Ashtaf Ausaf is representing Shehbaz Sharif against National Accountability Bureau (NAB)'s petition challenging his bail.
He has also served as the Attorney General of Pakistan.
The Supreme Court had on Tuesday summoned the Commissioner and Deputy Commissioner Rawalpindi to appear before the court on Wednesday over a contempt of court case against Railway Minister Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed.
A three-member bench of the apex court headed by Justice Sheikh Azmat Saeed heard the contempt of court case against Sheikh Rasheed filed by Girls Guide Association Rawalpindi.
During the course of proceedings, Justice Azmat Saeed remarked that trees were chopped and walls were demolished just for a one hour visit to cut ribbon.
Justice Ijaz Ul Ahsan asked whether the Punjab government had become land mafia. There was a decision that no land would be grabbed and trees chopped.
Justice Azmat Saeed observed that commissioner and deputy commissioner Rawalpindi were violating the court orders.
Additional Advocate General Punjab said the repair work would be started from today.
The hearing had resumed today.
