Sheikh Rasheed said that Pulwama terror attack was planned in India and Pakistan had no role in it.
Islamabad (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 23rd February, 2019) Federal Minister for Railways Sheikh Rasheed has given a befitting reply to India’s war hysteria while on Indian media.
Denying Pakistan’s role in the Pulwama attack, Sheikh Rasheed said that the people of Kashmir, who have now become Mujahideens due to Indian oppression, carried out the attack on the CRPF convoy.
Speaking to India Today tv, he said "Pakistan is itself a victim of terrorism. We can’t even think of carrying out terror attacks on some other country. Pakistan was not involved in the Pulwama terror attacks. Kashmiris have become Mujahideen and they are behind the attack, “Sheikh Rasheed said, adding, “To become a Mujahid is not difficult these days.”
Sheikh Rasheed further said that the Pulwama terror attack was planned in India and Pakistan had no role in it.
“The explosives that were used to bomb the CRPF convoy were from India, the SUV which was used in the attack was from India and the suicide bomber was also from India,” he said.
When the anchor questioned that Pulwama attack’s responsibility was claimed by Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) and its chief Masood Azhar had sent Abdul Rasheed Ghazi to India to train the Kashmiri boys, the railways minister defended Ghazi, saying he was not involved in the attacks.
"Ghazi was working against the Pakistan’s army," he said.
Terming the terror attack as an independence movement, the minister said, "When a person drives himself to a point where he is ready to be a suicide bomber, it proves that the call for freedom is at its height."
He further said that Prime Minister Imran Khan has given a clear message to the military. "PM Imran Khan has asked the military to destroy whoever attempts to attack them," he said.
