Sheikh Rashid Terms Asad Umar Hard Worker

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st Apr, 2019 ) :Minister for Railways Sheikh Rasheed Ahmad on Sunday said former finance minister Asad Umar was a hard worker.

Talking to a private news channel, the minister said he was in contact with Asad Umar and would try to convince him for rejoining the cabinet with other portfolio.

He said it was the prerogative of Prime Minister Imran to bring changes in his cabinet.

Sheikh Rasheed said he was the supporter of the prime minister and his every action, adding Abdul Hafeez Sheikh was a renowned person as Prime Minister Imran Khan knew him very well.

He said it was his desire that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf government should complete its tenure and also win the next general elections.

Replying to a question, he said Chaudhry Fawad Hussain was performing his responsibilities efficiently but media was against him.

To another query about presidential system, he said despite having many good things in the presidential system, the future of the country was linked to only parliamentary form of government.
