Shopkeepers Directed To Provide Edible Items On Officially Prescribed Rates

Deputy Commissioner Irfanullah Mehsud has asked the district food department to ensure provision of edible items in line with prescribed rates to facilitate masses in the holy month of Ramzan

DIR UPPER, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Apr, 2019 ) :Deputy Commissioner Irfanullah Mehsud has asked the district food department to ensure provision of edible items in line with prescribed rates to facilitate masses in the holy month of Ramzan.

During his visit to the office of District Food Department here, he directed to take strict action against those who didn't display price list, or found involved in hoarding and profiteering during the holy month.

He further directed the department to conduct surprise visit on regular basis during Ramzan so that the consumers could get edible items on government rates. District Good Controller and his staff briefed the DC about the performance.
