Shutang Stream Be Included Into Siddrapara Dam To Meet Water Requirements: Chairman PAC GB

Chairman Public Accounts Committee, Gilgit Baltistan Capt (R) Sikandar Ali on Monday underlined the need for converging Shutang stream into Siddrapara dam to avert water shortage in the GB especially Skardu.

ASTORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Nov, 2018 ) :Chairman Public Accounts Committee, Gilgit Baltistan Capt (R) Sikandar Ali on Monday underlined the need for converging Shutang stream into Siddrapara dam to avert water shortage in the GB especially Skardu.

Addressing a public rally at Chowk-e-Yadgaar here, the PAC chairman said Gilgit Baltistan (GB) could serve as gateway as far as the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor(PEC).

He said people of the GB were patriotic citizens who would continue their services for the socio-economic development, sovereignty and integrity of the country.
