Sialkot DBA Polls On Jan 14

SIALKOT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th Jan, 2017 ) : The District Bar Association (DBA) Sialkot and tehsil bars associations of Sambrial, Daska, Pasrur, Zafarwal and Shakargarh would be held on January 14, 2017.

There are total 1,574 registered voters in Sialkot DBA which will cast their votes. The rival candidates were claiming to give tough time to each other. There is neck-and-neck contest between two candidates -- Shahid Mir and Chaudhry Shaukat, contesting for the slot of president of Sialkot DBA.

Four candidates Aliya Hina, Mian Abdul Sattar, Zahid Saleem Bajwa and Suhail Ahmed are in the race for the slot of general secretary of Sialkot DBA.

In Sialkot, senior lawyer Ahmed Mehmood was elected unopposed as vice president and Aman Ullah Bhatti as joint secretary of Sialkot District Bar Association (DBA) here.

In Sambrial, Shehzad Ahmed Butt was elected unopposed as vice-president of Sambrial Tehsil Bar Association. While, Ayaz Ahmed Butt was elected unopposed as general secretary and Mueez Anwar elected unopposed as joint secretary of Sambrial bar association.
