Sindh Building Control Authority Chief's Directives Being Ignored In State Bank Society: Secretary

Secretary State Bank Society Dr. Muhammad Osama Shafiq on Monday alleged that the directives of Sindh Building Control Authority (SBCA) Director General (DG) were being ignored and construction of illegal portions was underway in State Bank Society.

KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Sep, 2018 ) :Secretary State Bank Society Dr. Muhammad Osama Shafiq on Monday alleged that the directives of Sindh Building Control Authority (SBCA) Director General (DG) were being ignored and construction of illegal portions was underway in State Bank Society.

Talking to APP, he claimed that he had informed DG SBCA Zulfiqar Qaimkhani in an application addressed to him on July 16 along with pictures as evidences that building by-laws were being ignored in State Bank Society Sector-17.

He said in the beginning the SBCA officials took action against illegal construction over commercial plot number CM-1-2-3 however the pillars of the building were not demolished.

He alleged that ground plus 4 floors were constructed over commercial plots number CM -23, 24, CM-10 and 11 whereas only ground plus three floors were allowed.

Osama demanded from the SBCA chief to look into the matter and take action against the officials involved in such illegal activities.
