Sindh High Court acquits a man awarded life term by lower courts

The Sindh High Court here Wednesday acquitted a man convicted for life term by a lower court for possessing hashish.

HYDERABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Sep, 2018 ) :The Sindh High Court here Wednesday acquitted a man convicted for life term by a lower court for possessing hashish.

The Hyderabad Circuit Bench set aside order of the lower court which had convicted Jameel Ahmed 6 years ago.

The convict's counsel advocate Farhad Ali Abro had earlier challenged the lower court's order. The SHC found a lack of evidence incriminating the person and ordered his acquittal.
