Sindh Madressatul Islam University Students To Get Opportunities Of Visiting Mines In Sindh: Minister

Sindh Minister for Mines and Mineral Development, Mir Shabbir Ali Bijarani Friday announced that visits to mines for the Sindh Madressatul Islam University (SMIU) students would be arranged for their observance of mineral resources located in Tharparkar, Jamshoro and other areas of the province.
KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Oct, 2018 ) :Sindh Minister for Mines and Mineral Development, Mir Shabbir Ali Bijarani Friday announced that visits to mines for the Sindh Madressatul islam University (SMIU) students would be arranged for their observance of mineral resources located in Tharparkar, Jamshoro and other areas of the province.
In his meeting with SMIU Vice Chancellor Dr. Muhammad Ali Shaikh at VC office SMIU, Bijarani said SMIU, being an Alma Mater of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah was most important for him. He said that he considers SMIU his own institution as his late father Mir Hazar Khan Bijarani had close association with SMIU.
Therefore, he would make efforts for its further development.
SMIU VC Dr. Muhammad Ali Shaikh said that the research scholars of the university would support the provincial department of mines and minerals in its various areas. He also suggested that the Mines and Mineral Development of Sindh should set up its museum in Karachi, where valuable stones like granite and other minerals be displayed.
Later, the minister visited Jinnah Museum and other sections of the SMIU and appreciated the discipline and performance of the varsity.
