Sindh Revises Exam, Holiday Schedule For Educational Institutes

The exams will be held from March 20 till April 30 while summer vacations will be announced from May 1 till June 30
Lahore (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 2nd January, 2018) A meeting of steering committee of Sindh education Department was held on Wednesday.
The meeting decided to revise the schedule of exams and holidays in educational institutes in Sindh.
The exams will be held from March 20 till April 30 while summer vacations will be announced from May 1 till June 30.
The educational institutes will remain closed for Pakistan Day, Eid Milad un Nabi and the Urs of Shah Abdul Latif Bhitai. Special events will be held on these occasions.
The educational institutes in Sindh will also observe the birthday and death anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah on September 11 and December 25, respectively.
The school timings have also been changed as decided in the meeting. The schools will now start at 8 in the morning till 2 in the afternoon.
The teachers will be bound to stay in the school till 3pm.
Classes will remain suspended in the educational institutes on national days while special events will be held on such occasions.
