Six injured in blast in Quetta

Six people were injured in a blast on the Mall Road here in Chaman on Friday.

QUETTA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Jul, 2018 ) :Six people were injured in a blast on the Mall Road here in Chaman on Friday.

The injured were immediately shifted to Civil Hospital where medics said two of them were in critical condition.

A huge fire erupted in nearby shops following the blast.

Rescue teams and a contingent of security forces reached the blast site and began rescue operation.

The bomb was believed to placed on a motorcycle and the bombers were to target security forces' vehicle.

The area had many shops and a mosque and was densely populated.
