ZIARAT (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News / NNI - 20th March, 2019) At least six Levies Force personnel were martyred as terrorist attacked the Levies check post in Sanjawi area of Ziarat district.According to Deputy Commissioner Ziarat, Levies force personnel were performing their duty when terrorists opened indiscriminate fire at their check post at Lal Khatai in Sanjawi area, resulting in martyrdom of at least six personnel.
Investigation into the terror attack was underway.Earlier on January 6, at least 12 people, including three Levies personnel and one soldier of the Frontier Corps had sustained wounded in two separate blasts in Balochistan.A blast near Police Lines Jan Adda in Pishin district targeted a Levies official, Naib Tehsildar Abdul Maalik Tareen, leaving the naib tehsildar, his gunman Salahuddin and one other Levies member injured in the attack along seven citizens.
Levies sources had said an improvised explosive device planted in a motorcycle outside Tareen's office exploded.The law enforcement forces had arrived at the crime scene while the injured were moved to a medical facility for medical treatment.In a separate blast incident, a Frontier Corps soldier and a civilian were injured in Panjgur district.Security sources had said the miscreants targeted an FC vehicle with the roadside remote-controlled explosive device in Punjgur bazaar.
