South Punjab Secretariat To Be Shifted At Metro Command & Control Centre Soon

Secretary Housing South Punjab Liaquat Ali Chathha, on Wednesday, visited un-construction building of Metro Command and Control Centre and directed officials to complete the building at the earliest so that South Punjab Secretariat should temporarily be shifted in it
MULTAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Sep, 2021 ) :Secretary Housing South Punjab Liaquat Ali Chathha, on Wednesday, visited un-construction building of Metro Command and Control Centre and directed officials to complete the building at the earliest so that South Punjab Secretariat should temporarily be shifted in it.
According to official source, although, the construction of South Punjab secretariat at Mattital road was in progress with rapid pace. Punjab government has set deadline to complete South Punjab Secretariat by 2023. However, temporarily, the secretariat will be established at Building of Metro Command and Control Centre.
The secretary housing directed officials to complete the essential work at the building as early as possible.
Liaquat Chathha also visited Shah Shams Park, wherein beautification and rehabilitation of the park was being done with cost of Rs 480 million. He instructed timely completion of development work. Chathha added that one percent of development fund would be spent on schemes of horticulture.
He also directed officials concerned to auction scrap material, recovered from Shah Shams and Jinnah Parks. Later on, the secretary housing Liaquat Chathha visited Science and Technology College and planted tree. He urged students to take part actively in plantation campaign. Director General Parks and Horticulture Authority Syed Shafqat Raza briefed the secretary about beautification work being carried out in different parks of the city.
