Speaker Chairs Meeting To Discuss Pace Of Construction Work On Colleges

Speaker Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Mushtaq Ahmed Ghani Tuesday chaired a meeting convened to review the pace of ongoing construction work on various colleges in district Abbottabad.

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Nov, 2018 ) :Speaker Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Mushtaq Ahmed Ghani Tuesday chaired a meeting convened to review the pace of ongoing construction work on various colleges in district Abbottabad.

The meeting among others was attended by MPA, Arshad Ayub Khan, former MNA, Azhar Jadoon, Director Colleges Higher Education Commission, Assistant Director Planning and Development Colleges and Deputy Director Monitoring.

Matters relating to construction work on Government Degree College (GDC) Boai, GDC Bakot, GDC Malikpura and Government Home Economics College were discussed in the meeting.

Speaking on the occasion, Mushtaq Ghani said that promotion of education was among topmost priorities of the government. He said the education was also a significant part of PTI's manifesto under which all the necessary steps were being taken for needed expansion and revamping in colleges.

He also directed authorities to work in consistency with the priorities and objectives of PTI government relating to education.
