Speakers At Jammu Seminar Ask For Kashmir Settlement

ISLAMABAD, Jan 3 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 03rd Jan, 2017 ) : Speakers, in occupied Kashmir, at a seminar in Jammu said that the resolution of long standing Kashmir dispute lies in dialogue between India, Pakistan and People of Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the function was organized by Forum for Peace and Territorial Integrity at Press Club in Jammu. Pro-freedom leader, Syed Salim Gilani, addressing on the occasion said that the resolutions of the United Nations provided basis for settlement of the Kashmir dispute.
"From the last 6 month, the reign of terror has been unleashed on the people of Kashmir under which over 115 innocent people have lost their lives, hundreds got maimed and property worth billions ransacked," he said.
However, he maintained that though such suppressive tactics, India could not force the people to desist from the freedom cause. Besides him, the function was addressed by Jamil Kazmi, A D Khajuria, Prof Zahoor-ud-Din, Sheikh Abdul Rehman, Mir Shahid Saleem, Advocate Tahir Mirza, Muhammad Shamsi and others.
