Speakers Call For Mass Awareness Against Malaria

Speakers at a function here Friday underscored the need for masses' awareness against malaria disease and preventive measures to protect people especially children from it

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th Apr, 2019 ) :Speakers at a function here Friday underscored the need for masses' awareness against malaria disease and preventive measures to protect people especially children from it.

These views were expressed by different speakers during a function arranged by social welfare society of Khyber Medical College (KMC) Peshawar in connection with an International Malaria Day.

Deans Medical University, Professor Dr Noorul Eman, renowned physician professor Dr. Muhammad Hamayun and others highlighted symptoms, diagnoses and treatment of the disease.

Dr Hamayun suggested special training to health workers to prevent malaria at grassroots level.

Later, an awareness walk was held attended by KMC's students and faculty members. The participants were holding placards with different slogans against Malaria.
