State Land Worth Rs 100 Million Retrieved In Bahawalpur

As many as 17 kanal and 10 marlas of state land worth above 100 million rupees had been retrieved in Bahawalpur division under the clean-up campaign, according to the official figures.
Anti-encroachment team headed by Assistant Commissioner City Rabia Sial retrieved more than 17 kanal land from the land grabbers in the area of Mouza Bandra Tehsil Bahawalpur City.
According to report, the land was situated in an urban area which worth more than 100 million rupees.
The land mafia was illegally holding and cultivating on land since long.
The AC said that it was first time that a government irrespective of political compromises has taken revolutionary initiative toget state land back from mafia.
