Steering Committee Discuss Finalization Of Development Projects

PESHAWAR, Jan 4 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 04th Jan, 2017 ) : Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Elementary and Secondary education, Muhammad Atif Khan Wednesday chaired steering committee's meeting and discussed matters relating to finalization of developmental projects to be completed with the assistance of World Bank.
The meeting among others was attended by provincial minister, Akbar Ayub, Secretary Planning, Shahab Ali Shah, Secretary Energy, Engr. Naeem Khan and officials of concerned departments. The meeting discussed and finalized various developmental projects in agriculture, tourism, urban development and energy.
The meeting also directed officials to present a priority-wise report of the projects in next meeting of the committee for forwarding to World Bank.
Speaking on the occasion, Atif Khan said that reforms of provincial government and improved law and order situation have restored the confidence of foreign investors.
He urged all the stakeholders to benefit from the opportunity and play their role to strengthen economy of the province. He said that policy of merit and transparency in KP has drawn international acclaim that would help facilitating a common man to improve its socio-economic conditions and become useful part of the society.
