MULTAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Jan, 2019 ) :Deputy Secretary Local government Punjab and focal person for clean and green campaign Mian Najib Aslam on Saturday said that steps were being taken on war footing to ensure cleanliness in cities of entire province.

He said that all possible resources were provided to Multan Waste Management Company, adding that strict action would be taken against officials over complaints regarding cleanliness in the city.

He expressed these views while presiding over a meeting with MWMC officials here.

Mian Najib Aslam said the new recruitments were made to enhance the capacity of the company. He directed the officials to devise a comprehensive strategy to make the cleanliness drive in walled city successful.

He also instructed to settle matters with companies and private sector regarding sale of waste.

Later, the Deputy Secretary visited various areas of the city and reviewed cleanliness arrangements.
