Street Criminal And Two Drug Pushers Held

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Jun, 2017 ) : Islamabad Sabzi Mandi police station has arrested a dacoit involved in snatching cash and other valuables from people at gung point, a police spokesman said.

A Police team headed by SHO Sabzi Mandi Inspector Rukhsar Mehdi including ASI Khalid Pervez and others arrested a street criminal identified as Babar Ali s/o Zahid Ali resident of Street no. 7, Foji Colony Rawalpindi.

Police recovered weapons, wallet and cash from his possession and he confessed his involvement during preliminary investigation in street crimes and to snatch valuables from people at gun point.

Further investigation is underway from them. Moreover, Sub-Inspector Muhammad Aslam from Aabpara police station arrested Shehbaz for having 1.15 kilgoram hashish. Sub-Inspector Rafi Ullah from Bhara Kau police held Nawaz in possession of 210 gram hashish while ASI Rizwan Ahmed arrested Nur Bacha for possessing 30 bore pistol.

Meanwhile, Islamabad police also arrested 16 professional alm-seekers. While reviewing the overall performance, SSP Islamabad Sajid Kiani has appreciated it and directed all police officials to intensify efforts against criminal elements.
