The Supreme Court on Wednesday dismissed pre-arrest bail plea of four accused involved in illegal possession of a woman's land

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd May, 2019 ) :The Supreme Court on Wednesday dismissed pre-arrest bail plea of four accused involved in illegal possession of a woman's land.

A three-member SC bench headed by Justice Gulzar Ahmed heard the pre-arrest bail petition filed by Munawar Hussain, Mazhar Hussain, Tahir Hussain and Shahid Mazhar.

All the four accused are involved in illegal possession of the land owned by Ammara Nasir in Qadirpur Rawan, Multan.

During the course of proceedings, Justice Gulzar Ahmed remarked that the accused entered the woman's house and smashed everything there.

He asked as to how the commissioner, who had no authority to identify land, had done so.
