The Supreme Court on Wednesday expressed annoyance over non-submission of fresh reports by agencies about the last year's sit-in at Faizabad.
ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th Apr, 2018 ) :The Supreme Court on Wednesday expressed annoyance over non-submission of fresh reports by agencies about the last year's sit-in at Faizabad.
A two member bench of Justice Qazi Faez Isa and Justice Musheer Alam heard a suo moto case regarding the use of abusive language by the protestors and the difficulties faced by the residents of twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi due to the sit-in.
During course of proceedings, Justice Isa asked the Deputy Attorney General about the reports which were to be submitted by the agencies as the court had expressed its dissatisfaction over the previous ones.
The court observed that if the agencies were not cognizant of the source of income of Tehreek-e-Labbaik leaders then it might be assumed that they were being financed by an enemy country. Justice Isa remarked islam did not allow use of derogatory language, which in fact portrayed a wrong image about the religion. The case was adjourned for ten days.
