Suspect Arrested With Gunshot Injury In Encounter

HYDERABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th Aug, 2024) A suspect was arrested in an injured condition in an encounter with the City police near St Marry's school here on Monday.
Police spokesman Awais Rajput informed that a mobile van of City police was on routine patrol when 2 suspects riding on a motorbike engaged them in an exchange of fire.
He claimed that one of the suspects, identified as Farzul islam Memon, sustained a gunshot to his leg and was arrested but his accomplice escaped. Memon was shifted to Liaquat University Hospital for surgery of his gunshot wound.
The police spokesman told that they were checking the previous criminal record of Memon
