Suspect in ex-wife's murder case arrested in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 8th Aug, 2024) Islamabad Police have arrested a suspect, identified as Farhad, in connection with the murder of his ex-wife in the Shahzad Town area.

The victim was shot dead allegedly by the accused, according to police spokesman.

Following the incident, DIG Islamabad Syed Ali Raza promptly took notice and ordered the immediate arrest of the suspect.

The police team successfully apprehended Farhad in a swift operation.

DIG Islamabad praised the police team for their efficient response and assured that the accused will be presented in court with solid evidence.

The case is currently under investigation, and further details are awaited.
