PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Sep, 2021 ) :The woman's police station in Swat has registered the first FIR during a crackdown on drug peddlers in the area.
SHO Women Police Station Neelam Shaukat has started a crackdown in her respective area following the instructions issued by IGP KP Moazzam Jahan Ansari to make it drug-free.
On Wednesday, SHO Neelam Shaukat formed a team under her supervision and raided a home in the Battar area of Tahirabad.
During the raid, a female smuggler, the wife of Asmat Ali, was arrested for carrying 107 grams of heroin in her possession.
An amount of Rs. 89590 was also recovered from her home.
FIR has been registered at Swat Women Police Station and an investigation started in the case to arrest other members of the drug smugglers gang.
