SWMC To Make Small Zones At UC Level To Improve Cleanliness

MULTAN, May 9 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 09th May, 2017 ) : Solid Waste Management Company (SWMC) has decided to make zones at union councils level to improve cleanliness in the city. The city consists of 68 union councils.
The MWMC staff and machinery would be deployed as per demand of the zones.
This was stated by MD SWMC Imran Noor in a statement issued here. He directed officials sprinkle water at populated chowks of the city on daily basis. The trash from sewerage lines in interior city should be shifted to land-fill site as early as possible.
