Symposium On 'Plasma Science & Applications' Held At GCUF

FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Feb, 2017 ) : A daylong symposium on 'Plasma Science & Applications' here on Wednesday was organized at Iqbal hall of the Government College University Faisalabad.
Prof Dr G. Murtaza from Government College University Faisalabad was chief guest of the symposium held under the aegis of Physics Department. Dean Faculty of Science and Technology/Chairman Physics Department Prof Dr Nasir Amin welcomed the guests and highlighted the uses and importance of plasma science and technology in industry and medical science.
He said the aim of organizing the conferences was to provide awareness about modern research among teachers and students and enhancing their capacity building. The speakers were included Prof Dr Muhammad Zakaullah, Quaid-e-Azam University Islamabad, Prof Dr Riaz Ahmed/ Chairman GCU Lahore, Dr Muhammad Jamil Alvi Physics Department COMSAT Lahore, Dr Muhammad Faraz Bashir COMSAT Lahore, Dr Syed Salman Hussain, International Islamic University Islamabad.
Later, shields were given away to guests and organisers.
