Tanvir Asks PTI To Shun Negative Politics

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 29th Sep, 2016 ) : Provincial Minister for Housing and Urban Development Malik Tanvir Aslam Thursday said elements involved in politics of chaos, were striving to achieve their selfish goals.
Referring to protest call by PTI, he said politically sane people would not be hoodwinked through such negative propaganda and will reject such elements on September 30. Talking to this scribe at his Punjab Assembly chamber, he said there was no room for negative politics and under the prevailing circumstances, there was an urgent need for unity and solidarity in the country.
He said elements engaged in politics of sit-ins and marches wanted to hamoer development process, but he stressed that the journey of nation's progress and prosperity would continue till completion of this agenda.
"The dream of prosperous Pakistan as envisioned by founder of Pakistan Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah will become true under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif", Tanvir Aslam said.
The minister said the incumbent government initiated mega public welfare projects, including a number of those which would help overcome energy crisis in the country. He said that political elements criticizing these welfare projects without any reason, were in fact working on foreign agendas and enemies of the poor.
He said the PML-N believed in public service and a number of welfare projects had already been completed expeditiously, adding that while Orange Line Metro Train (OLMT) project, unique in xountry's history, would provide most modern transport to people.
Minister Tanvir Aslam suggested to PTI leader Imran Khan to desist from negative politics in the wider national interest."Rallies and marches will serve nothing but harm the national economy," he observed.
