
TDAP Organizes Visit Of Agro Food Trade Delegation To Qatar

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 29th july,2016) : Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) organized visit of Agro Food Trade delegation to Qatar from July 27-30,2016 aiming at to promote Pakistani food products export to the country.
In this connection, the Embassy of Pakistan, Doha arranged Pakistani food festival in Intercontinental Hotel, Doha, Qatar on July 27, 2016. The event was attended by diplomats from more than 60 countries, concerned government officials, officials of Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry, local importers of food products and chief executives and other management of big retail companies and outlets like Lulu Hyper markets, Al Meera Hyper Marts, Hassad Foods, Widam, Family Food centers etc.
Mohammed Bin Ahmed Tawar Al Kuwari , Vice Chairman Qatar Chamber of Commerce was the chief guest of the occasion. Further, from July 28-29, 2016, Pakistan Qatar business Forum (PQBF) also organized Pakistan Food Festival in Ezdan Mall, Gharafa of Qatar, said a statement issued by the TDAP on Friday.
The shopping Mall was located in the center of Doha and attracted big crowd of people on the occasion. The display area of the Mall has been decorated with publicity and promotion material related to Pakistani agro food products; LED screens showcased video documentaries on Pakistani Mangoes Rice and Red meat; Mangoes and Biryani tasting by chefs were organized for the occasion. The purpose of the programme was to introduce 3 premium Pakistani product groups, namely Rice, Mangoes and Red Meat to the Qatri market.
During the events, the importers showed great interest in Pakistani mangoes, rice and red Meat and our exporters got serious inquiries.
