Teachings of Holy Prophet (PBUH) be promoted to face worldly

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News -7th Sept,2016) : Speakers at a book launching ceremony here Wednesday underlined the need for taking solid steps to promote the teachings of Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) for achieving success in the world here and the hereafter.

Addressing the launch of the book titled "Tehreek-e-Nabuwat Aghaz Saay Kamyabi Tek" written by prominent journalist Saud Sahir, Leader of the House in the Senate Raja Zafar-ul-Haq said the life of Holy Prophet (PBUH) was a complete code of life, providing guidance in every sphere of life.

Thus, it was incumbent upon all Muslims to follow his teachings to effectively face the present and future challenges and give a befitting reply to those elements, who were putting hurdles in that regard, he added.

He said the book fully covered the events which had taken place during the Khatam-e-Nabuwat movement in the country, in addition to the proceedings of the Parliament when the historic constitutional amendment was passed about 'Qadianis'.

He said the particular work, which would prove to be a source of redemption and success for Saud Sahir in the world hereafter, was the vivid narration of facts about the life of Holy Prophet (PBUH), besides identifying the forces and doctrines which were out to misguide the people.

Raja Zafar-ul-Haq said the book should be widely distributed in order to protect next generations from un-Islamic doctrines. Advisor to the Prime Minister on National History and Literary Heritage Irfan Siddiqui said the book had recorded and embodied crucial stages of the country's history.

He urged Saud Sahir to write more books regarding ups and downs in the country's history in order to educate and let people know about their leaders and their role.

He said the book had minutely recorded all episodes and sessions of the country's Assembly which had made an historic decision regarding Qadianis.

All the members presented their views in those Assembly sessions on the matter and then a constitutional amendment was passed, he added. Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl chief Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman underlined the need for observing September 7 in a befitting manner as on that day, the country's Assembly had passed crucial the constitutional amendment regarding Qadianis.

Before partition, Fazl said, a particular group was planted and backed by the British to torpedo the freedom movement. Even today such lobbies backed by the United States were active to misinterpret Islamic concept of 'Jihad'.

He, however, said no Muslim could bear such anti-Islam elements and foil their nefarious designs. Farooq Adil said he had close association with Saud Sahir, who was a dedicated and hard working journalist.

In his book, he had not only highlighted problems but also identified their solutions. He said saud had quest for news and recalled he sneaked into venue of OIC summit in Lahore in woman's guise He said the particular piece of work was not only an addition to the literature but also contribution towards promoting faith.

Saud Sahir also shared his experiences, saying his work would go a long way in educating people about historical events with regard to the Khatam-e-Nabuwat movement. Khursheed Nadeem and Mulana Fazal-ur-Rehman Khalil also spoke on the occasion.
