Tehsil Council Mardan Approves Rs891mn Budget For 2018-19

Tehsil Council Mardan today unanimously approved Rs890 million budget for the year 2018-19 with Convener Mushtaq Seemab in the chair.
MARDAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 9th Aug, 2018 ) :Tehsil Council Mardan today unanimously approved Rs890 million budget for the year 2018-19 with Convener Mushtaq Seemab in the chair.
Nazim Tehsil Council Muhammad Ayub Khan in his address said with the support of the council members and officers of the line departments, we have overcome the deficit of the council and chalked out comprehensive strategy for the next fiscal year to this effect.
There is no concept of leader of house and leader of opposition in the council and all the members worked in unison for the development of their areas.
Various schemes allocated for peoples welfare in the budget, he said adding the revenue receipts of the council pitched at Rs850.
90 million which included Rs328 million of the council's income while provincial government's share estimated at Rs403 million and Rs472 million allocated for salary and pension of TMA employees and Rs102 million allocated under non salary head.
The council slashed the TMA expenditures by Rs120 million in the outgoing fiscal. Rs315 million allocated for new development schemes in the budget.
Tehsil Nazim assured that development fund would be equally distributed among the council members for execution of uplift projects.
