Lahore (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 23rd January, 2019) The report of Thallium scan test of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif has been declared unsatisfactory.
The doctors have expressed their dissatisfaction over the Thallium scan test report of the former premier.
Hospital sources said that one of the arteries of Nawaz Sharif has narrowed down which has negatively affected blood supply to the lower body.
Nawaz Sharif’s cardiac veins have shrunk, the doctors said.
Following the reports, Nawaz Sharif has been recommended for angioplasty.
Meanwhile, the doctors have suggested admitting the former premiere to the hospital.
A medical board comprising senior doctors from Punjab Institute of Cardiology (PIC) examined former prime minister Nawaz Sharif at the hospital.
According to Medical Superintendent PIC, the board conducted various tests, including electrocardiography (ECG) and echocardiography.
The security was beefed up around PIC to maintain law and order and avoid any untoward situation.
An accountability court had on December 24, 2018 sent Nawaz Sharif to seven years imprisonment in Al-Azizia Steel Mills reference.
The former prime minister had filed an appeal in the Islamabad High Court against the verdict and also submitted a petition seeking suspension of the sentence.
