Thousands Of Youngsters Warmly Welcome Shehbaz Sharif

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th May, 2018 ) :Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif was warmly welcomed by thousands of youngsters on Wednesday who were standing under the track when he reached islam Park Station for the test run of orange line metro train.

A large number of people were standing on house roofs, roads and bazaars for seeing the test run of orange line train. The chief minister along with Chinese Consulate General Long Dingbin boarded the train and enthusiastically shook hands with driver and staff besides congratulating them.

The CM briefed Chinese Consul general and other distinguished guest about orange line train Shalamar Bagh, Ghulabi Bagh, Railway Quarters and other areas of Lahore. Children and women viewed the orange line metro train from house roofs and elderly man tried to get attention of the chief minister by waving handkerchief from the balcony of his home on which the chief minister enthusiastically answered his greetings.

The train reached Laxmi Chowk Stop from Islam Park, Salamat Pura, Mehmood Booti, Pakistan Mint, Shalamar Bagh, UET and Railway Station Stop.

A large number of people expressed joy after seeing orange line train at Shalamar Link Road, Garhi Shahu Road, Empress Road, Sabzi Mandi.

A young man standing on tea stall cheered orange line by raising cup of tea. Citizens also took footage of orange line metro through mobile. When Chief Minister reached Laxmi Chowk the slogan of 'Hamara Sher Train Ley Ker Aya' raised.

The chief minister asked the participants to clap especially for the Chinese president and prime minister. Similarly he lauded Kh. Ahmed Hassan and project team of orange line by calling the Names.

The Chief Minister was in green shirt. Shehbaz Sharif while criticizing the anti public policies of Imran Khan said, "Niazi's desires will remain unfulfilled as the will of Allah Almighty reigns supreme." The chief minister while addressing Imran Khan said that he became of delay for orange line train of people but he had now missed his express.

Shehbaz Sharif concluded the speech on slogan Pakistan Zindabad, Quaid-e-Azam Zindabad. APP/saa/zqr
