Three Afghan Gangsters Held For Looting People

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Oct, 2016 ) : The Special Investigation Unit (SIU) of Islamabad police has busted a gang of Afghan nationals involved in looting people coming out of banks and recovered snatched cash and a vehicle from them.
According to a police spokesman, Tanveer Khan, a resident of Satellite Town Rawalpindi, lodged a complaint with the police of snatching of some Rs 800,000 money by the gang near Zero Point, which he had drawn from Bank Al-Falah in Sector F-7 on September 27.
Superintendent of Police (Investigation) Muhammad Ilyas constituted a team under the supervision of DSP CIA Bashir Noon, which succeeded in apprehending the gang of three Afghan nationals involved in this dacoity.
The team recovered Rs 800,000 and a rented car from the accused identified as Hashim Khan, resident of Kabul, and Hamshad and Waheed Ullah, residents of Karnai Akherabad, Afghanistan. During preliminary investigation, they revealed that they used to keep surveillance of people who parked their vehicles outside banks for withdrawing cash.
One of the gang members used to mark a deep cut on the tyre of parked vehicle. The driver had to stop the vehicle when its tyres got flat due to the cut and then accused managed to snatch the cash from him or her.
