Three Booked For Purse Snatching In Bahawalpur

The police have lodged a case against three unknown suspects for allegedly snatching purse from a woman in a bazaar of Hasilpur tehsil of the district.

BAHAWALPUR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Jun, 2018 ) :The police have lodged a case against three unknown suspects for allegedly snatching purse from a woman in a bazaar of Hasilpur tehsil of the district.

The police sources said a man lodged his complaint with Hasilpur police that three accused snatched a purse from his wife when she visited bazaar for shopping.

"Muhammad Hanif, the complainant nominated three accused in his complaint, submitting that they snatched purse from his wife when she was shopping in the bazaar," they said.

He told police that his wife had kept cash over Rs 10,000 and a cell phone in the purse that was snatched by the suspects. The police have registered case against the accused and launched investigation. Further probe was underway.
