Timely Elections Could Help Resolve Issues: Javed Hashmi

MULTAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st May, 2018 ) ::Senior leader Pakistan Muslim League-N Makhdoom Javed Hashmi said on Sunday that elections should be held on time as it would help to resolve many issues faced by the nation.

Talking to the media here, he said that Pakistan Muslim League-N was ready to contest elections as it was fully prepared.

He added that PML-N leader Muhammad Nawaz Sharif had won hearts of masses.

It was the time to ensure sanctity of votes, he added. Responding to a question, he observed if political parties did not agree on caretaker prime minister then election commission would have constitutional powers to entrust responsibility for arrangements to hold elections. To another query, he stated that elections would be acceptable under security of the armed forces. APP/atf/zhr
