Timely water imperative for wheat crop

LAHORE, Jan 4 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 04th Jan, 2017 ) : Ensuring timely water to wheat crop is vital for obtaining good yield. According to the Punjab agriculture department sources on Wednesday, the shortage of water effects the provision of food nutrients while on the other hand, excessive watering was not good for land and the crop.

The sources said that it was very important to give water to the crop on right time.
